This world is full of so many beautiful and creative cultures that have ancient wisdom that is still relevant in modern societies. In Ancient India, there was holistic healing system created to focus on balancing the mind, body, and spirit through understanding our physical and emotional being. In Ayurveda, there are three main mind-body types that are important to achieve optimal health and a well-balanced lifestyle. Alongside these three main types there is also things incorporated into being able to practice, embody, and master a lifestyle that fulfills an individual person's needs through healthy choices in living. The other things included are Chakras, Elements, Vatsu, and Holistic Herbs & oils. Adequate exercise, dieting, and sleep are also necessities as well for basic human functions. While modern life teaches us how to manage symptoms, Ayurveda teaches us to understand the patterns. By understanding your natural constitution, you can make more informed decisions about your habits, nutrition, energy, relationships, work style, and daily routines. The goal isn't perfection, the goal is sustainable balance. So, what exactly are the three main mind-body types?
These three main types are called Doshas and are based off the five elements. the first type is Vata, which is a combination of Air + Ether, the second type is Pitta, a combination of Fire + Water, and the third type is Kapha, this combination is represented by the elements if Earth + Water. Each Dosha type carries a unique energy signature that governs over a person mental capacity, physical wellness, emotional states, and even their concepts of life routines and daily habits. An Ayurvedic Muse has familiarized themselves with these three Dosha types and the energetic frequencies that each of them represents based off the elements.
So who exactly is the Ayurvedic Muse? Well as you previously read, the ancestors of India practiced many different holistic and cultural beliefs that eventually announced this healing concept called the Doshas. An Ayurvedic Muse is a master in understanding the belief systems that were formed to create the Dosha types, the elements that exist and how they effect each Dosha, as well as the mind and body needing to perform specific practices daily to live a well-balanced life within someone's Dosha type. The Ayurvedic Muse is also a specialist in recommending people to their Dosha type and all of the practices needed to personalize a health practice for someone to follow in their daily regimen. This Muse may put together a health plan, inquire about certain herbs and sleep regimens, but also they can help others discover parts of themselves that they may have not fully understood previously. Let's take a peek at a few examples of the Dosha types and how they are relatable to everyday living.
A person that identifies with the Vata type may be someone that is similar to the Air and Ether elements. This means that they have a tendency to think a lot of about spirituality, metaphysics, and even conspiracy theories. A Vata person may also have a slimmer figure and have a hard time gaining weight, trouble with a consistent sleep schedule and just maintain a routine in general. They resonate with the elements of Air so they are quick on their feet, and also Ether meaning they are flexible with intellectual and intuitive ideas. But as quick as they may come around, is as quick as they will leave the ground so it is vital for them to practice meditation often. Now someone who identifies with the Pitta types holds the elements of Fire and Water. They have a well-proportioned routine when it comes to exercise, eating habits, and even performance at work as well. However, this type can also be highly ambitious, aggressive and even hot-tempered in specific settings making them quite prone to burnout if they do not temper their need for rest in between extreme outlets of energy usage. Similar to water and fire, when these two elements join they may either boil like hot water or create steam and mist so balancing their temper is necessary for optimal health. Then there is the last type of Dosha which is combination of Earth and Water called the Kapha type. Those that identify with Kapha are often associated with structure and stability in all areas of their life including work, home, and sleep schedules. Kapha, like Earth, is a very solid matter which means they can be stubborn and resistant to change. With their addition of water element, this does make them calm and supportive in nature, even when being pressured to conform to new ideas or uprooting parts if their lifestyles. An Ayurvedic Muse has familiarized themselves with all of these Dosha types and even be very skilled at identifying these types immediately on sight. People trust them to do analysis charts that will give them well-balanced regimens on how to fully embody and enjoy their lifestyles despite all of the external factors that may affect them as well. Let's learn more about this fascinating Muse that may appeal to you as well to become a fellow practitioner in the future or just help you understand yourself better so you can enjoy a well-balanced lifestyle.

How Do I Live an Ayurvedic Muse Lifestyle?
The Best way to live the Ayurvedic Muse lifestyle is to first practice what your preach.
Be willing to study, seek out, and try new herbs. Exploring ways to create and implement healthy routines. Give your body the variety of rest, stimulations, movement and mindfulness that it needs.
Learning that no mind, body, or spirit is perfect and embracing body types of all shapes and sizes while encouraging others to do the same. The Ayurvedic Muse does not believe in body shaming because they understand that every Dosha has a specific build that can be maintained the way a person desires with a well-balanced diet, bedtime routine, morning exercise rituals, self-care and healthy habits.
Just like a Medical Physician, the Ayurvedic Muse creates a holistic regimen that is tailored to your external lifestyle circumstances as well as your Dosha type. They examine specific signs and symptoms that contribute to a person's overall well-being. If they sense that something is off balance then they coordinate remedies that are natural like herbal supplements, proper nutrition, breathing techniques, stimulation education, and obeying Dosha lifestyle standards. This practice is not meant to take away the purpose of pharmaceutical medicines, religious organizations, or mental therapy that are necessary for survival, but rather they are giving enhancement rituals that will bring people into more balance and harmony within their mind, body, and spirit regularly.

What Does the Ayurvedic Muse Need to Maintain Balance?
An Ayurvedic Muse understands that caring for others begins with caring for themselves. Their own mind, body, emotions, and environment require continual attention to remain balanced. Rather than chasing perfection, they learn to recognize early signs of imbalance and gently return themselves to harmony through intentional daily practices.
If your are an Ayurvedic Muse Practitioner that resonates mostly with Vata Dosha type, then you need to remain grounded in your time with clients by having an Anchoring ritual before and after sessions. Accepting warm meals to keep your blood circulation healthy, a consistent routine that allows you breaks between clients, adequate rest even consider 30 minute naps during the day, and gentle movements like Yoga in the mornings and at night before bedtime.
Not all Practitioners have the same passion, but if you are an Ayurvedic Muse that happen to be Pitta type, then you would benefit from cooling foods and drinks like ice or peppermints, also learning patience in during sessions where clients may be resistant to changes. You can always rebalance your emotions by spending time in nature, or simple relaxation techniques after sessions. As a Pitta Dosha type, it is always great for you to have mindful practices that give you emotional releases so you can let off some steam and remain well-tempered.
The Kapha type may be a skilled Ayurvedic Muse if they're willing to get active and moving in their sessions with clients like going to them instead of having them meet you in same place every time. getting out of your comfort zone will allow your water energy to flow because you are creating variety instead of stagnation like mud. Also finding inspiration in your client's stories will generate natural movement for you to take the advice also being given to you from their balancing journeys. Lastly, remember that lightness is key so create daily routines that don't weigh down your energy like tight schedules that require you to stay in one position for several hours at a time.
There is a rare type of Dosha known as "Tri-Dosha". This is someone well-balanced with all of the elements and they have the abilities to adapt in many ways to consistent changes and disciplined routines. If you are an Ayurvedic Muse that happens to be Tri-Dosha then I recommend maintain your adaptability as a strength to lean into when life requires constant change, also being highly self-aware gives you the opportunity to relate and observe your clients from both a practice and Practitioner perspective. Having your own personalized routine will allow flexibility during season changes especially when adjustments naturally need to be made to the human body based on the Earth cycles as well.
Every individual carries a unique energetic blueprint. An Ayurvedic Muse Practitioner Learns to observe patterns rather than assumptions. By recognizing physical characteristics, emotional tendencies, daily habits, and environmental influences, they can begin identifying which Dosha may be most dominant before creating personalized Wellness recommendations for others.
