As she used her grinder the dry herbs in her mortar and pestle, she couldn't help but smile as she thought about the beautiful blend that was coming to life before her very eyes. This is a vague example of how the Herbalist Muse spends their days indoors with plants that they gathered from the outdoors. They are natural foragers and understand a good find of flowers when they see one. They are also natural healers that are gifted in the realm of understanding plants as food and medicine. Originally I would love to assume that the Herbalist Muse used to live a very calm quiet and quaint life, shuttered in a cozy home in the woods where they utilize most of their time studying plant parts and how to properly use their properties, only associating with a society when someone needed there plant code knowledge, But unfortunately that would be a fantasy. In modern society, the herbalist muse does not live a simple and patient life. In fact the Herbalist Muse may at find themselves infused with so many options while also being pulled in multiple directions. The options that are consistently being broadcasted to them have to do with all of the ancient ways of creating medicinal art verses paired with new modern technologies and discoveries from other plant lover communities. They are also pulled into multiple directions because the pharmaceutical companies have taken natural plants properties and created artificial remedies to take their place, there are also less ancient herbal medicines that exist on the local market making it more difficult for them to access holistic properties from specific plants. A traditional herbalist also knows that good remedies take time and you have to be willing to put in the effort and sometimes even muscle to go out and seek the remedies that you need, bring them back to your facility for processing, and then allow the medicine to work its magic alongside time.
